The Childress Institute for Pediatric Trauma has announced the availability of research funds to support our mission to discover and share the best ways to prevent and treat severe injuries in children throughout the United States.
Research proposals will be reviewed and funded on the overall impact of the research to enhance standard practices in pediatric trauma management. A total of $100,000 is anticipated to be awarded through this RFP.
Research Program Details
Interested applicants must submit a letter of intent by June 30, 2018. Letters of intent will be reviewed by the Childress Institute research advisory committee. Upon the committee’s recommendation, individuals will be notified by August 1, 2018 and invited to submit a full proposal. Guidelines and instructions for proposals are also available in the links below. Completed proposals should be received no later than 5 pm on October 1, 2018. Late, incomplete or applications that do not comply with instructions will be returned without review.
Notice of award will be made on December 1, 2018 and funding will begin no earlier than January 1, 2019. A total of $100,000 is anticipated to be awarded through this RFP. A timeline with deadlines is provided below. Specific conditions associated with the award will be included with the notice of award.
